Proud Hosts of the Ohio State Fair Shoot and Mid-West Regional Championship
Central Ohio's Cowboy Mounted Shooting Club
The Mid-Ohio Marauders are an affiliate club of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association®. Cowboy Mounted Shooting is the fastest growing equestrian sport in the nation. Mounted contestants compete in this fast action timed competition using two .45 caliber single action revolvers, each loaded with five rounds of specially prepared blank ammunition. The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (CMSA) has a variety of levels of competition for everyone, ranging from novice levels to the seasoned professional. In addition to revolver classes, CMSA offers competition and points in additional events of shotgun, rifle and cavalry class as well as Wrangler classes for the kids.
Interested in joining us? The Marauders are always happy to talk about our sport! Spectators are welcome at all of our shoots and we welcome any questions via e-mail, phone call or Facebook. We also host new shooter clinics to get you and your horse ready to compete.
